•What is a stretch ceiling system?

The stretch ceilings had been used even in antiquity (those days a wet linen cloth had been simply stretched and after it had dried up, the surface become straight), in the Middle Ages this technology was forgotten and was renewed and improved only in XX century in Sweden, then the stretch ceilings were generally recognized and won wide popularity in the Western Europe.

A Stretch Ceiling is a suspended ceiling system consisting of two basic components – a perimeter track and lightweight PVC membrane which stretches and clips into the track. In addition to ceilings the system can be used for wall coverings, light diffusers, floating panels, exhibitions and creative shapes. Stretch Ceilings allow the incorporation of all types of light fixtures, grilles and fixing points by the use of a proprietary background support.

• Membrane:

Our membrane is made of +/-0.2mm thick (depending on the particular type) fully recyclable Stretch PVC. The thickness slightly varies depending on texture. The material comes in a vast variety of Colors, Finishes and Textures including Matt, Satin, Lacquer (mirror like),  and Translucent for lighting diffusers, backlighting & projection; Marble, Shammy,  Metallic,  Crep-Satin etc.
It is entirely waterproofed, washable and absolutely resistant to moisture and humidity. The Material is maintenance free, hygienic, non toxic and is fire rated to new euro class standards -ISO 9001:2008, EC Declaration of Conformity.
